The Almighty of the northern realms, the black conqueror of our souls, the Emperor that went deep inside our consciousness. That was the band that blasted our faces in the ear lies 90’s, changing the Black Metal into something greater, spiritual, symphonic, pure art transcending from the metal or the music in general. You can figure it out some young people listening to Death Metal and early Black Metal stuff discovering the first time “I’m the Black Wizard”. A feeling of cold darkness took them directly to the old Norwegian woods. The Nature, the Ancient Ones, the Earth, sung together through the hordes of Ihsahn, Samoth, Tchort, Faust (Mortiis and others). The rest is history and probably you know it.
